Description
The only time VW mounted the exhaust system, to an in-line engine, was the Vanagon diesel. These were rattled with issues. Like every passenger car VW ever produced, the FAS “engine free” exhaust hanging kit, mounts to the body of the van. This has proven to reduce vibrations & resonance, as well as improve down pipe longevity.
**Clamps are sized for a Vanagon 1.9L waterboxer engine**
