Description
The only time VW mounted the exhaust system to an in-line engine, was the Vanagon diesel. These were riddled with issues, including vibration/resonance, and cracking pipes. Like every passenger car VW ever produced, the FAS “engine free” exhaust hanging kit, mounts to the body of the van. This has proven to reduce vibrations & resonance, as well as improve down pipe longevity.
**Does not fit stock Waterboxer Engines**
**Clamps are sized for a Vanagon 1.9L waterboxer muffler**
