At FAS, restorations are the primary focus of our business. Over the years a lot of customers have had us add reversing bucket seats to their Westy or Passenger van. It is definitely handy having that one extra fold away seat and seat belt when hauling little ones to soccer games, etc. The toughest part of the job is correctly making and mounting the seat bushings to the floor to ensure maximum safety. We have seen a lot of shoddy improper installs and we’ve also wasted tons of time cutting the welds on factory bushings out of donor vehicles to then prep and prepare them for re-installation.
